the content we make
to thrust down the throats
of our neighbours
the numbers must rise
to reach toward the prize
and sincerity’s become
overrated
so the place where we go
for friendships to grow
is now littered with
deceptive behaviours
trust doesn’t exist
in places like this
and the whole world
may soon become strangers
